TOY2R proudly announces that the pending collaboration with Emilio Garcia to bring his Jumping Brain figure to vinyl is on the production calendar at last!! From Zipper Pulls to Large Scale and even DIY versions, the Jumping Brain is poised to take its big leap into the designer toy world.
Emilio Garcia’s artwork has spanned many mediums, from his well known resin formed Jumping Brains to skateboard decks to “brainy” Mickey Mouse images. There is a well defined style that plays well in many different forms. We are beyond pleased to see his work portrayed in the vinyl arena.
There was an outburst of interest when we first showed this figure back in April ‘09 that has not waned since… in fact, interest and excitement has only grown! Now the day is here and brains are a-jumping. Collectors who couldn’t get their hands on or just couldn’t afford Emilio’s Jumping Brains in resin will be stoked to be able to collect these gorgeous vinyl reproductions. The 2″ keychains will be the first to roll off the presses. They release at the end of January and will be available on US shores soon after with an SRP of $7. Next up is the 5″ figures which are due to roll out late February. These limited lipids will be listing at $45. Brain fans rejoice!
